Trial Policy: Players who are looking to join an established team or age group at NJFC will be offered the opportunity to come on trial with the teams on a limited basis. Trials will allow for adequate assessment on the club's and player's end. 

Tryouts Policy: Players who are looking to join a new age group at NJFC will be asked to join a talent identification session(s) with other interested players. 

Trial Teams Policy: Players who are currently without a team and looking to join one of our "trial teams" may be brought on trial and offered a roster spot if it is still available. Trial teams are short-term teams that are run when there are enough interested players to form a team on a trial basis. Trial teams are formed when a group of players are in need of a place to play immediately for, at least, the short term. These teams typically result in an official team being formed. This is a great option for players looking to transition into club soccer from the travel or recreation level.

Current Players Policy: NJFC believes in showing loyalty to our players and giving them first right to spots on the team for the following season. New players must show they can be an improvement to the team through "trials", thus displacing a player. This form of new player acquisition is focused on building teams on a long-term basis, and not simply grabbing the best players who show up to a large tryout.
